Hawks sign Aliu to 3-year contract
The Blackhawks say they've signed right wing Akim Aliu to a three-year contract. The 19-year-old native of Okene, Nigeria, was the Blackhawks' third choice, 56th overall, in the 2007 NHL Entry Draft.
Chelios brings Stanley Cup to Wrigley
The Blackhawks won't play at Wrigley Field for another four months, but the Stanley Cup arrived in good time on a hot and humid Friday afternoon. Red Wings defenseman Chris Chelios brought the Cup back home to Chicago, and plans to take it all over town.
